Information Regarding Collection Notices from Midwest Service Bureau (MSB)

Anderson Healthcare has received reports from some patients who have recently received collection notices from Midwest Service Bureau (MSB) related to radiology services.

These notices involve services that were interpreted by Maryville Radiology Group, LLC, a former independent radiology practice that previously provided contracted physician interpretation services for Anderson Healthcare. Maryville Radiology Group is no longer in business. It is our understanding that the practice’s outstanding accounts were transferred to Midwest Service Bureau for collection.

This issue may affect some patients who received radiology services between 2024 and August 2025, including imaging performed in a variety of Anderson Healthcare service areas. Not all radiology patients are affected.

Please note that these collection notices are not from Anderson Healthcare, and any balance referenced is not owed to Anderson Hospital.

What should I do if I receive a collection notice from MSB?

  1. Contact your insurance company and request the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for the date of service.
  2. Review the EOB with your insurance representative. In many cases, the EOB indicates the claim was denied due to timely filing, meaning you may not be responsible for the balance.
  3. If your insurance company confirms this, contact Midwest Service Bureau (MSB) and provide them with the information from your insurance company so they can review your account.
